I just installed a new gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump and lines, and I've purchased a carburetor rebuild kit but haven't done the labor yet.
Price is $5,000.00 and I consider it in running condition, but far from show room.  I used an online "blue book" that quotes $6k as the high end in this condition. .

The truck is a 1962 Chevy C10, Step-Side 1/2 ton pick-up.  It was purchased in 1962 by my great uncle, the late John Wenger of Atkins, AR.
My uncle did not like to leave town (at all) so my dad, Ron Klober (16-yrs old) drove the truck back to Atkins from Russellville.
Uncle John gave me the truck when I was 13-yrs old (1985) and that started a 3 year long restoration process, also known as a father-son project.
Back then LMC truck and all the other online aftermarket parts warehouses weren't available, so we did thinks the hard way, junk yards, machine shops and sweat.
I drove the truck at 16 to high school for 6 months, and other than occasional Sunday outings it has been garage/barn kept ever since.
The odometer states 26,000+ miles, but I concede it more like 50,000 miles.
I've been on the fence on whether I should sell or not, but I'm in the process of down sizing for a future move, and I'm afraid I'll be unable to protect it from the elements in the future.
