Storino's Meatballs:

Have ground together 2 lbs beef stew and 1 lb pork steak
Chop up real fine 1/4 to 1/2 onion
Put garlic salt or half a clove chopped up real fine .
Add 2 1/2 handfuls of grated Romano cheese (parmesan can be used)
Add handful or maybe a little more of parsley.
Soak bread in water and wring out 2 1/2 to 3 slices
Start with adding 3 eggs, and you'll probably use 4
Shake salt & pepper in mix. (Mix should be sticky)

Make sure you put in enough cheese, salt and pepper or it will ruin the flavor.
Mix all the ingredients and let sit in refrigerator overnight so the flavor can blend.
For parties, make small and put in oven at 300F for a few minutes to par cook.
Then put into sauce and cook for at least l 1/2 hours.

Storino's Sauce:
Chop up 1/2 onion and brown in olive oil.
Add one can tomato paste and two cans water (use plum tomatoes for thicker sauce).
Add one can (large) tomatoes, squeeze with hands so no large lumps are visible.
Sprinkle in basil leaves (3 or 4 whole leaves).
Mix with wooden spoon and put on simmer for at least 2 hours before adding meatballs.
