Pastry with Sausage Filling:

4 pts water
2 tsps salt
2 c flour
6 ozs butter

Mix flour and salt in mixing bowl. Then add only 2 oz of butter to the flour and salt.
After you have mixed the butter in well, add enough water to make a pliable dough.
Knead on a floured board. Roll into a square and cut in center, but only enough
to leave all four corners together. Then rollout into more or less a star shape.
Place 2 oz butter in center. Wrap sides over so that covering butter.
Then rollout. Set for 10 minutes, then reroll and add remaining butter.

Sausage Filling:
1 slice bread
1 large onion
2 1/2 c mince meat or ground sausage spices to suit your personal taste

Cut pastry' into strips. Mix sausage, onion and spices together.
Cut bread in half and set in warm water for 10 minutes. Rollout mixture in strips.
Place in flour. Place in strips of pastry. Wet sides so pastry sticks.
Place a bit of butter on .top of sausage rolls.

Place in oven for 45 minutes.
