PARTY FOODS
Deep South Fried Onions:
Enough onions (one medium size per person)
Slice onions in 1/4" slices and sautee in 1 tbsp butter. (Be sure not to brown).
Add:
2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp lemon peel, grated
1/4 tsp paprika
2 tsp finely chopped pecans or walnuts
salt to taste
Cook slowly and stir occasionally for
20 minutes. (Be sure not to brown).
