The A La Russe:

To 1 qt. of strong tea add;
the juice of 3 lemons
and  3 oranges
and  1 c of pineapple juice
and  a tsp of whole cloves.

Sweeten to taste and let stand for an hour; then strain.
Keep hot until served and dilute to half a gallon.
