Carlton and Louise Womack will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary on
January 15, 2002.
Mr. Womack was born in Beebe to the late Kit Carson & Nancy Elizabeth (Gammel) Womack.
He is a retired government worker & recently retired from Roller-Daniel Funeral Home
after 41 years.
Mrs. Womack was horn in McCrory to the late Walter Ray & Sarah Jane (Dehart) Cariker.
She is a retired sales lady, cashier and a fu1l-time mother.
The Womacks have two daughters
Carolyn (Womack) Smith of Searcy and Nancy (Womack) Billiot of Judsonia.
One grandson, six granddaughters, four great-grandson & five great-granddaughters.

Dear Mr Womack,
So sorry I've been so long answering your request-but my brother has
been ill and passed away Easter afternoon.
I have no records pertaining to the Womack family -
My grandfather Womack's Bible was burned when his son's house burned.
He was Nan's grandmother too. I'm sure the records had been written in it.
He had a brother named Steve Womack, who has a granddaughter in Little Rock -
a Miss Jessica Womack - she, too, is interested in genealogy.
Her phone could be listed in her sister's name - a Mrs Pink (Womack)Bodeman
in Pulaski Heights(Little Rock AR).
Then Grandpa had a brother,or cousin, that moved to Ennis TX - he was
called "Poley Womack."
My grandfathers' name was John Thomas Womack, his wife was .
They are buried in the Antioch Church Yard.
I can't think of one more thing
other than they came from TN. My mother's Bible contains no family records.

We were always told that these Womacks were no kin.

living nearby that were born in TN in the same area he was!!

They came to Ark from White Co. TN, near Sparta.
James B. Womack had a cousin Frank Womack in Beebe AR in 1912.
James B. Womack had a sister who married a Mark Fowler and moved
to Logan NM.
This was all sent that was pertinent other than Clay Fowler
visited his Uncle James at Des Arc AR "near 1922."
