Vickie Parker-Clark (vickiepc@uidaho.edu) of Hayden Lake, Idaho would appreciate information on siblings, 
parents and children of Levi Milton Parker b. 1844 in Randolph County, North Carolina. 
In the 1850 census, he is living with a Taylor family in Randolph County, and a James Parker, 20, is living 
there as well. He is not found in the 1860 census. In 1870, there is a Milton Parker in Randolph County with 
the correct age to be Levi Milton. 
Levi m. Nancy Louise Sluder b. 1851, and they were in Randolph County in the 1890 census. 
Vickie's grandfather, Walter Wesley Parker b. 1887 is a son of Levi and Nancy Louise. 
His siblings include ElRoy, Lawson, Robert, Nora and Mary (Mamie). Nora and ElRoy, believed to have been older than Walter, 
are not in the 1900 census. Walter followed the wheat harvest to Missouri, where he m.

Clarence Edgar Sluder, 66, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2001.
Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Burial at LITTLE ROCK NATIONAL CEMETERY.
Survived by his wife. Esther Marie Sluder of NLR; two sons, Wayne Sluder of LR & 
Michael Sluder of NLR; two daughters, Sherry Clements of Seattle, WA & Kathy 
Hallenbeck of NLR; three sisters, Leona Canada, Evelyn Black & Ellen Machost;
two grandchildren;, Shawn

Lillian Odel Sluder Darden Lillian Odel Sluder Darden, age 83, of Georgetown, 
formerly of Amarillo and Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on August 21, 2001. 
She is survived by her son, Don Alexander and wife, Beverly, of Austin, Texas; 
brothers, Edis Sluder and wife, Esther, of Joshua, Texas, and Leonard Sluder and wife, Monah, of 
Graham, Texas; granddaughters, Jenifer Henthorn and husband, Dave, of Red Oak, Texas, and 
DeDe Alderman and husband, Skip, of Wichita Falls, Texas; niece, Terri Curry of Austin, Texas; 
great-niece, Holly Spinks of Austin, Texas; grandson, Tony Rich, of Eastland, Texas; 
six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2001, at Bethany United Methodist 
Church with the Reverend David Minnich officiating. Interment will take place in Graham, Texas. 
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Austin, 4107 
Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78759.
