True barn find 1948 3800 LWB Deluxe 5 window cab truck.
Awesome "nature made" patina. Factory 9' step side bed. Typical dents and
dings but "real metal" should work out and look good. This truck started
it's life in Moline Il. and was brought to Paragould 37 years ago and parked
behind my friend's barn. The body is in super shape with only very little
rust @ the right fender where rain dripped down on the it from a overhead
tree. Floor/doors/cab in super nice shape. There is no radiator or oil bath
air cleaner. Sold on Bill of Sale with documentation from estate sale.
I have done several of this series of truck and they make great rat rods or
great restoration projects.
Truck has been moved to "solid ground" (ie my driveway LOL) Man was that a
"fun" job" digging her out of a 37 years ago napping place!! Some amazing
engineering these old beauties. Rolled 3 miles to my house with no problems.
