arrived in Tannton, Mass. in
1643, direct from Wales. He died in 1675.
He married Sarah Tarn in 1651.
A son Edward Bobet, born in 1655, died in 1732.
He married Abigail Tisdale.

Erasmus Bobet, born in 1685, died in 1730.
He married Abigail Sturges and they began writing their name as Bobbitt.
Erasmus was grandfather to Allen Bobbitt.

Allen Bobbitt born around 1770 and died in 1847.
His will is recorded in Granville county, NC - June 9, 1847 and proved Feb court 1848.
He married Elizabeth Turner in 1805.
They had several children - among them
Patrick Henry Bobbitt. Ndob died 1870.
He married Lucy Ann Cheatham Nov 3, 1835.
